A few hours after pop star Mariah Carey filed a $3 million lawsuit against her former executive assistant for violating a non-disclosure agreement, she got a response. Former assistant Lianna Shakhnazaryan filed a lawsuit that alleges failure to prevent discrimination and harassment, retaliation and wrongful termination, among other complaints.

Carey’s former manager, Stella Bulochnikov, was also named as a defendant in the suit. The former personal assistant states in her lawsuit that she was “subjected to severe, pervasive, sexual, derogatory, offensive, physically abusive and outrageous conduct by [Bulochnikov].”

Former assistant Shakhnazaryan says Carey’s former manager called her an “Armenian whore,” among other insults. She says the former manager also subjected her to “acts of physical abuse” that included the “slapping of buttocks and breasts.” Fox News reports that the former personal assistant also alleges that she was “urinated upon in the presence of others on multiple occasions.”

She says in her lawsuit that Carey not only knew of the improper behavior, but that it was done “with Carey’s knowledge, permission and/or in Carey’s presence.”

Shakhnazaryan’s lawsuit alleges racial discrimination, breach of oral contract, intentional infliction of emotional distress, battery and failure to pay earned wages, among other accusations.

She says she had an oral employment contract with Carey, which called for her to be paid $328,500 annually.

She says that after she complained to Carey about the former manager’s alleged misconduct, she was fired.

Carey alleges in her own lawsuit that her former personal assistant is “a grifter, a Peeping Tom and an extortionist.”
