Ruth Bader Ginsburg was no foreigner to gender discrimination, undergoing experiences such as hiding her pregnancy under baggy clothes to ensure renewal of her work contract. Her many accounts with gender discrimination led her to dedicate much of her career to diminishing discrimination instances in many facets of American life.
