Attorney Randall Gold obtained a trial court verdict of $1.4 million for his client, Chicago Auto Loans, LLC in March of 2016.
The defendant, a Riverwoods, Illinois man, used fraudulent car titles in order to secure auto loans from Chicago Auto Loans, LLC.
In a civil lawsuit, Gold stated the defendant used almost 40 phony car titles with the motive of receiving business loans from Chicago Auto Loans, LLC.
Cook County Circuit Court Judge Brigid Mary McGrath awarded Gold’s client compensatory damages for civil fraud of upwards of $480,000 and punitive damages of over $960,000.
