Three groups of workers have been identified in the Covid-19 economy: those that have lost their jobs and face financial distress, those that are deemed essential and have to risk their lives going to work, and those that must work from the comfort of their own home. Unfortunately, blacks are much less likely to be found in the last group. Black workers face two of the most dangerous criteria during the Coronavirus pandemic: racism and inequality.
